First Order Gnosis exists so a newcomer does not have to guess which door is a school, which is a scripture archive, and which is an encyclopedia entry.
Mission
To offer a trusted single map of Gnostic resources — a library and a path — and to keep credit with the people who did the work. The public home of that map is https://firstordergnosis.com.
What we publish
Orientation, labels, and links. We write enough prose for you to choose a next step. We do not host complete books or replace the classrooms and churches those books belong to.
Methodology
We research a source, verify that its URL still works, prune dead links, and label the tradition so Practical, Classical, and Academic voices are not collapsed into one pile. The current check date is on the home page and in the footer.
Credit policy
Always name the source. Prefer a link-out over a paraphrase that could be mistaken for the original. The working list of hubs and reference articles is on About / Sources.
